We practiced cutting grapes...
And strawberries...
Then came apples....
All of this cutting was a fantastic opportunity to practice our fine motor control, holding the small slippery fruit still while carefully cutting with our plastic knives. Some children found it easier than others, of course, but everyone practiced their kitchen safety and cooking skills.
Step 2: Mix everything together!
Part of any cooking project is cleaning up, so we wiped the tables clean after all that juicy fruit.
When everything was mixed, we enjoyed the "fruits" of our labor! :)
