Field Trip - Branham Park & 2 Birthdays

The field trip to the park was a great success. The children did great staying together, looking both ways as we crossed the streets, following directions, and having FUN!!!

The children were troopers walking and carrying their backpacks all the way there. We only stopped about 30 times to fix shoes/sandals :)

The children enjoyed everything that Branham Park had to offer especially the tire swing.

M pushing her friend P on the tire swing.

A on the rocking horse

Three of my boys N, M, and G and their three hats.

S and R driving their transformer cars.

K and S hanging around.

We're following the leader, the leader, the leader, we're following the leader wherever they may go!

L and E going down the slide.

Next up N and E.

A also had a great time sliding down the slides. We welcomed A to our class a few weeks ago.

An awesome smile from N, who we also welcomed to our class a few weeks ago.

Friends enjoying their lunches.

R and M having an awesome lunch time conversation.

M, L, and S eating their yummy picnic lunches

Blue Room at Branham Park. We enjoyed playing on everything especially the tire swing, slides, climbing structures, basketball court, soccer balls, lots of grass to run and play on and a sand volleyball court to dig in. The children in both classes slept very soundly those days! I had a lot of fun sharing the day with all of the children and going on an adventure together. Thank you to L's mom and A's mom for joining us. And also a very special thank you to teacher Janet, teacher Aimee, and teacher Priscilla. It was an extra special day for me because my mom came up to go on our field trip with us. My mom teaches 3rd/4th grade, and actually was MY preschool teacher back in the day. It was a great day and I cannot wait to venture in other directions for field trips. Thank you parents and teachers for all your support!

Happy 6th Birthday M, we are so happy to be spending the summer with you and that we got to spend this very special day with you.

Happy 5th Birthday A! Make a wish!

We had a full house so very excited to share A's cupcakes. And by share, I mean eat them all up! :)

A brought very creative "Olaf" cupcakes with chocolate chip eyes and mouth and even a carrot nose. The children were excited to eat a carrot with frosting on it. Happy 5th Birthday A, I feel very blessed to have spent the year with you and I wish you the very best in kindergarten. Teacher Romina used to always say that you could use scissors better than her. You are very creative and have amazing scissor skills :) I will miss hearing you sing songs and seeing your smiling face.

Hugs,

Teacher Kristina
